Eyesi Surgical Complete System has a realistic simulation of cataract and vitreoretinal surgery, which results in the users developing surgical experience without the risk of complications for the patient. It is also significant that the simulator also contributes to the Contracting Authority being able implement extensive training independent of patient put through. The Contracting Authority has experience with Eyesi Surgical Complete System through presentations at conventions and through observation and training stays at major clinics in other countries, as well as from trialling the instrument. The Contracting Authority has searched the market for multiple potential suppliers, but had at the time of publication, only knowledge of one supplier who can fulfil the Contracting Authority's needs. Based on the above, the Contracting Authority believes that there is grounds to enter into agreement on the purchase of an eye simulator with VRmagic GmbH without publication of a competition, cf. Public Procurement Regulations (PPR [FOA]) § 21-5, cf. § 13-4 first chapter, letter b, second point. * Extra set of cataract instruments. * Software upgrading. The Contracting Authority has experience with Eyesi Surgical Complete System through presentations at conventions and through observation and training stays at major clinics in other countries, as well as from trialling the instrument. The Contracting Authority has searched the market for multiple potential suppliers, but had at the time of publication, only knowledge of one supplier who can fulfil the Contracting Authority's needs. The Contracting Authority therefore believes that the procurement concerns services that only one specific supplier can deliver, cf..
