Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation Ltd., subsequently named NRK, invites you to send a request to participate and qualify in a negotiated procedure for the delivery of a multi-platform on-demand service (web-player). With this service NRK want to offer our audience linear produced content on new media platforms, in a non-linear form (on demand).
NRK wants this to be a multi-platform web solution, offering the content on mainstream devices such as computers, TV, game consoles and mobile devices. Main focus is catch-up – i.e. the programs recently broadcasted on NRKs linear TV and radio channels. The service will also offer historic content from NRKs TV- and radio archives.
The solution need to be “future-proof” with the ability to cost effectively adapt to new platforms and devices, new user habits and new ways to present this type of content.
