BIR Infrastruktur AS has been using plastic containers for the collection of glass and metal for several years, and has had a good experience with the use of this type of container. The containers have been placed at recycling centres in BIR's owner municipalities. In addition, plastic containers with lids have been used for the collection of food waste. BIR Infrastruktur and SUM IKS would now each like to enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of plastic containers.
