The Police Shared Services (hereafter called PFT) hereby announces a request for information (RFI) on behalf of the Police's IT unit (hereafter called PIT). PIT would like input from the market on a tool for hosting active metadata for data objects. The main aim is to support a data driven ambition in the Norwegian Police.
The aim of the RFI process is to start a dialogue with suppliers of data catalogue products in order to understand and learn about these products. This will make it possible for PIT to run a Proof-of-concept, which will eventually lead to a subsequent procurement process.
