The Nordic Council of Ministers will conduct an evaluation of Nordplus in 2020–2021.
 
Nordplus is the Nordic Council of Ministers' most important Nordic-Baltic programme in the area of mobility, lifelong learning, future competences, education, the Nordic launguages and cross-sectorial co-operation. Nordplus consists of 5 sub-programmes. The programme’s objectives and structure are laid out in the Nordplus Programme Document 2018-2022.

The purpose of the evaluation is to provide a basis for the preparation of a new Nordplus Programme period, and as well as handling the consequences of the reduced budget frames 2021-2024
