X-ray scanners to Eastern Finland border crossing points

The object of the procurement is to purchase x-ray scanners with maintenance services to Eastern Finland land border. X-ray scanners will be the following:

1) Fixed X-ray scanner update at the Vaalimaa border crossing point;

2) New train scanner at the Imatra border crossing point;

3) Train scanner renewing at the Vainikkala Border Crossing Point In this procurement, fixed scanner means inspection/imaging system, which is used for scanning whole trucks (loaded/unloaded), containers and vehicles to reveal dangerous and/or illegal cargo and to carry out manifest verification to reduce the need for manual inspection. In this procurement, train scanner means an automatized x-ray inspection/imaging system designed for scanning moving rail cars and wagons to reveal dangerous or illegal cargo and confirm the content of the shipment. In this procurement complies with the Act on Public Contracts in the Fields of Defence and Security (1531/2011) and Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts (1397/2016).
