Monitoring and Mapping with Environmental DNA for Batrachochytrium Dendrobatids (Bd) in Ponds Containing Amphibians

The objective of the project is the testing and development of a system where environmental DNA is used as a tool for monitoring and mapping Bd. Different parts of the assignment must be based on the current mapping and monitoring reports and the future reports from the Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food and Environment (VKM) The report from the Norwegian Scientific Committee for food and environment shall govern how the project must be implemented. The contract period is one year with a frame of 880 000 NOK. The contract also includes options for extension, 1 year at a time for up to 4 years, until 2023. The total value is 3 000 000 NOK (years 1-5).
