Assignment text

This competition is divided into 2 sub-areas — liquid and solid dairy products. It is possible to request qualification for submitting a tender for one or both sub-areas. Both joint procurement contracts will contribute to meeting the need for healthy and nutritionally correct food in Oslo municipality. It shall be noted that the food contracts are a policy for reaching the municipality's goal of increasing the share of organic and fairly traded food and reducing the amount of food waste. The city council has, for example, set a goal that the share of organic food and drinks consumed in the municipality must, in the long term, be increased to 50 %. The aim for Oslo municipality is, therefore, to enter into contracts with tenderers who can help Oslo municipality reach this goal and create the best premises for the municipality procuring food that is responsible, organic and sustainable.
