The Centre for integrity in the Defence sector (CIDS) in Norway is working as an independent advisory body under the Norwegian Ministry of Defence. The CIDS responsibility covers improving good governance, building integrity, giving advice in the field of key area in order to reduce risk of corruption or other unethical behaviour. The key areas relevant in order to provide sustained improved governance are:
