This document is a Prior Information Notice. This is not a procurement announcement, not an Invitation to Tender, nor will its publication start a tender procurement process. The target of this Prior Information Notice is to reduce time limits for receipt of tenders. TTY Foundation sr (Tampere University of Technology, TUT) is planning a procurement concerning an equipment for aligning and bonding glass, silicon and polymer wafers. Tampere University of Technology and the University of Tampere are being merged to create the new multidisciplinary foundation-based Tampere University on 1.1.2019. The priority areas of the new university will be technology, health and society. Tampere University Foundation that operates as Tampere University will also become the majority shareholder of Tampere University of applied sciences. This new higher education community in Tampere will be made up of 30 000 students, 330 professors and 4 400 employees.
