Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering is conducting research on time-resolved optical characterization of materials and opto-electronic devices. For luminescence measurements, we are acquiring a streak camera system with time-resolution better than 5 ps and simultaneous measurement of wavelength and time dependence of the luminescence. The intended main use is on III-V semiconductors in the form of both bulk samples and nanostructures, as well as on emerging 2D materials.
