Short description
‘Inn på tunet’ shall primarily provide an offer for younger persons with dementia. The offer should also be open to physically fit older persons with dementia. The 2020 Dementia Plan highlights the importance of having a meaningful and tailored offer for persons with dementia. ‘Inn på tunet’ shall fulfil a function that an ordinary day centre cannot. ‘Inn på tunet’ is an offer that shall provide the possibility for people with dementia to master and experience activities as meaningful. From 2020, municipalities will have a legal obligation to provide a day care offer for persons with dementia, and the contracting authority would like to have different types of offers for this user group. The background for this is that many persons with dementia are physically fit, and have resources to use in tailored circumstances despite their dementia.
