Turun Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy (TSE) has built a combined heat and power unit (NA4, nominal fuel input some 430 MWfuel) in an existing power plant area, where the company already owns three coal-fired power and CHP blocks (NA1, NA2 and NA3). Energy production of the NA4 is based on wood- and agro-originated biomass, peat and coal. This supply consists of the flue gas heat recovery plant with the necessary auxiliary equipment for the NA4 power plant. The supply also includes the condensate treatment plant where raw water is produced from the condensate for the existing power plant. The annual average heat recovery of the flue gas condenser is about 40 MW and the maximum heat recovery is about 65 MW. The recovered heat will be transferred to the district heating network. The supply may contain the whole flue gas heat recovery plant with flue gas condensate treatment or only the separate flue gas heat recovery plant or only the separate flue gas condensate treatment plant.
