Business Finland Oy (hereafter Business Finland) invites you to submit a tender regarding Visit Finland’s Health Tourism project in accordance with the terms of this invitation to tender. Business Finland is the Finnish innovation funding, trade, investment, and travel promotion organization, headquartered in Helsinki. Business Finland is fully owned by the Finnish Government. Business Finland employs 600 experts in 40 offices globally and in 20 regional offices around Finland. Business Finland is part of the Team Finland network.
Finland has good prerequisites to meet the growing demand of health services. Visit Finland aims to increase the international awareness of Finland and Finnish companies as providers of quality care and increase the number of medical tourists entering Finland. The service provider should provide the following;
Four (4) work packages during Q3-4 2018 and Q1 2019:
1.Identifying potential partners, sales channels and market-entry strategies for the Finnish companies.
2.Organizing and hosting a 2-3 day tour to China (Beijing/Shanghai) for 10-15 companies (Q3 2018). The arrangements shall include:
- organizing meetings with potential partners such as private clinics, tour operators, medical tourism facilitators, government agencies, professional associations etc. based on the identification of potential partners,
- a preparatory workshop to give a snapshot of the market and to prepare the companies for the meetings,
- identifying and inviting targeted guests for a networking event organized as part of the tour in co-operation with Team Finland,
- taking care of practical arrangements during the trip: meeting rooms, catering, transportation in China.
3.Assisting in organizing a familiarization / delegation trip from China to Finland (Q4 2018 or Q1 2019). The assistance should include inviting potential visitors from identified target groups in China and travelling to Finland with the delegation to guide them during the visit. Business Finland will be in charge of co-ordinating the program in Finland.
4.Preparing a proposal for b2b events/forums/professional seminars/high-end healthcare summits where the Finnish health tourism industry could have a presence in 2018-2019.
In addition, Service provider must provide additional consultant work.
