Grorud multi-purpose hall is a combined building that shall be established in the sports park. The project is located close by the existing facility at Grorudparken and Groruddammen [Grorud Park and Grorud Dam]. The address is Grorudveien 7. New access shall be established from Rassmusbakken.
The project includes:
— multi-purpose hall 25m x 45m with standard handball hall playing surface,
— supporting rooms such as training premises, changing rooms, vestibule, office/meeting room, service functions, stores and technical rooms,
— club premises for Grorud IL and demolition of the existing building,
— nursery school with 8 bases (6 departments*), with places for up to 18 children per base,
— parts of the premises shall be for joint use for cultural purposes,
— outdoor areas and activity axis.
