The planning and design contest shall be a contribution to Oslo municipality's work in developing a “village” for persons with cognitive decline who require care in Furuset in Oslo-Furuset hageby, within Oslo municipality's model area in Future Built-Furuset. The 3 best qualified tenderers will be invited to participate in the contest for submitting a concrete solution proposal. The jury shall select one winner. We intend to enter into a service contract, further engineering design assignments, with the winner of the contest for continuing the project work with the “village”. Besides selecting a winner, the jury shall also rank the other teams into second and third place. The assignment is ordered by Oslo Sykehjemsetat (SYE), who shall also be the user of the concept. The assignment is a Futurebuit project. We would like to use the contest to find solution proposals that in total take care of the contest's intentions and requirements in the best possible way after a total evaluation based on 5 judgement criteria with subpoints.
