The evaluation shall attempt to find out what changes have occurred in kindergartens as a result of the new framework plan. The evaluation shall find out how the new framework plan for kindergartens has been implemented in practice, including how the new framework plan is interpreted, operationalised and experienced by actors in different levels of the sector (nationally, regionally, locally).
Knowledge of the implementation of the new framework plan shall contribute towards a research based basis for future policies.
New framework plan for kindergartens.
The new framework plan was implemented in kindergartens in August 2017. This framework plan includes several elements from the 2 previous framework plans for kindergartens, but it also includes some changes. The act relating to kindergartens' [Kindergarten Act] objective and content are the most important terms for the new framework plan.
