The aim of the procurement is to establish a contract to forward data traffic on a fixed data connection to approx. 210 base stations (called permanent geodesic stations (PGS)) in mainland Norway, as well as to offer new establishments by the expansion of the PGS network. The permanent geodesic stations consist of a GNSS receiver and communication equipment and they form a geographic nationwide network with a distance of approx. 35-70 km between each station.
