In order to strengthen border control against the ever increasing amount of synthetic narcotics that are ordered over the internet and sent by post, new laboratory equipment shall be procured. The Customs laboratory would like to procure a robust GC-MS/MS analysis instrument that can contribute to identifying unknown chemical substances. Secure identification is important so that the Customs can react in the best possible way. In some cases there will also be a need for quantification. The new equipment shall be a GC-MS triple quadruple (GC QqQ). The equipment sahll be delivered to the Customs laboratory's new premises at Strømsveien 96 at Helsfyr, Oslo.
