The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Eastern Region needs a framework agreement for workshop services for test drilling rigs. There are currently three boring rigs included in this framework agreement. It is planned to renew one of the rigs during 2017. This rig will not be part of this framework agreement before the warranty expires.
The function of the test drilling rigs is to map the soil conditions and to at any given time be located where the Contracting Authority needs to undertake soil investigations. The area where the drilling rigs operate includes the counties of Oppland, Hedmark, Oslo, Akershus and Østfold.
Currently it is difficult to estimate our need during the period of the framework agreement, but will anticipate that the rigs will primarily be placed by the major main roads in Østlandet. (E6, E16, E18, Rv.3 and Rv.4).
