In accordance with the Norwegian Parliament's discussions of the White paper No 14 (2016-2017), c.f. Recommendation 235 S (2016-2017), the Ministry of Culture will publish an assignment for commercial public broadcasting. The frameworks of the assignment are further described in the Norwegian Parliament's White paper No 14 (2016-2017) Commercial Public Broadcasting.
The compensation scheme will be organised in accordance with the group exception for services of public financial value stated in the EEA legislation. The assignment will be awarded after a competition based on judgement, which is open to all interested parties.
The Ministry of Culture requests inputs for the formulation of the tender notice from potential service providers. Interested parties are therefore invited to 1-on-1 meetings with Ministry of Culture for a dialogue about our requirements and possibly solutions. Potential tenderers are requested to submit inputs on how the tender notice should be formulated in writing, prior to the meeting The meetings will be held in accordance with the attached meeting schedule.
