Notodden municipality shall upgrade Sætre Primary and Comprehensive school by an extensive internal upgrading of the existing building, as well as the construction of additions.
The school facility has been constructed over a long period. The oldest building B was built by the end of the 1950s, buildings A, C, D and E were built in the period 1963-1964, and the final building was built in 1994.
The contract mainly includes renovation of all internal surfaces and the replacement of all doors. The contract shall include some demolition works in all of the school facility's wings. The ventilation system shall be upgraded and expanded. The electrical system shall be renewed.
Outdoor areas shall be developed with soft and firm surfaces. The gross area of the existing buildings is approx. 5 937 (some areas are very little affected).
The total gross basement area is approx. 2 508 m2 (only some areas are affected).
The new building B 1: gross area 1 042 m2.
The new building D1: gross area 395 m2.
The total gross area is approx. 9 918 m2.
