Roaf needs to enter into a contract with a provider of transport services and energy utilisation of the residue waste from households. The residue waste will be sorted in ROAF’s sorting plant. The sorting plant is designed to sort the residue waste in green bags from households first. The residue waste will then be screened and sorted in the waste fractions plastic, metal and paperboard/paper. A considerable amount of the residue waste will however be subject to energy recovery after the sorting and screening processes. ROAF has implemented fuel analyses and the result thereof is attached. Follo ren has awarded ROAF the exclusive rights for its household waste. The contract will be in force from and including October 2017. Follo ren is implementing exactly the same waste sorting system as ROAF. This means that the inhabitants in Follo will begin with sorting food waste in green bags, and the plastic waste together with residue waste.
