The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Rural Energy Agency (REA) has received funding from the Government of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), British Government through Department for International Development (DFID) and the World Bank for the operation of the Off-Grid Renewable Energy Project. It is intended that part of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Provision of Consultancy Services for Technical Assistance (TA) to implement “off-grid” renewable energy (RE) rural electrification programs.
