The intention of this request is to on a commercial basis, find a basis for a TRI system.
Our need for information is divided:
1. To find a commercial supplier/software that can easily fulfil The Norwegian National Rail Administration's need for a system.
2. To find good systems and systems with good functionality that can be used as a base for a TRI system that shall be used in the train planning in Norway.
3. To combine economic information about the cost side in case a decision about purchasing or exchanging of such a system is made. So that The Norwegian National Rail Administration has an overview of possible suppliers, preparation to procure such a system. The cost and market information collected by this RFI will further be used in the future internal work.
The possible purchasing of such a system will probably be managed either by the use of SSA-T, or SSA-S. I advise that you, as a possible tenderer, become familiar with these contract templates.
