Bergen Regional Health Authority, henceforth referred to as the Contracting Authority, intends to purchase a flexible automated robot for sample preparation for use at the Hormone laboratory, the section for chromatographic methods and mass spectrometry. The laboratory conduct approx. 400 000 requested analyses per annum. Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LCMSMS) analyse of vitamin D, steroid hormones and 5-Hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), as well as new methods in the process of being developed, amount to approx. 133 000 of the current analyses conducted by the department.
The procured sample preparation robot shall be used in analyses conducted with LCMSMS technology.
