Bergen municipality shall enter into a framework agreement for the insurance of buildings with contents and chattels in buildings.
The municipality currently has excess for fire damage, theft, water damage, comprehensive claims for 5 000 000 NOK. This excess is 500 000 NOK for municipal houses. The future contract is expected to include high excesses.
The buildings consist of approx. 900 municipal housing buildings and approx. 150 other municipal buildings (schools, nurseries, administration building, nursing homes, sports centres, car parks, arts/community centres, other) that shall be insured.
This is a prior information notice which will be followed by the contest notice, probably in September/October 2015. The planned contract start date is January 2016.
At the current time Bergen municipality is considering that tenders shall be submitted based on the following information that will be in one or several spreadsheets: address, type of building (wooden, brick, concrete, unspecified), area of use (office/administration, school, nursery, nursing home, housing, arts/community centre, sports centre, car park, other — specified, other — unspecified), type of cover, insurance sum.
Bergen municipality would like potential tenderers to register in the Mercell system in order to register their interest.
