The procurement shall meet the requirement for mechanical logging and transportation of timber from stumps to roads in Oslo municipality's forests. The estimated scope is 25 000 m3 per annum. The quantity varies in accordance with the operational conditions in the forest and the opportunities for sales in the market for timber.
The objective of this procurement is to enter into contracts with up to 3 service providers. The works are to be divided in such a way that the assignments are approximately equally divided between the service providers, during the contract period. The logging is estimated to be divided in 50 % thinning, 40 % full logging and 10 % open rejuvenation logging. It may also, to some degree, be relevant with logging along roads, tracks and lines, as well as transportation of GROT (wood which shall be used as bio-fuel).
