The basis of the project is Zoning Plan No. 2006 129 "Zoning for Highway 44 Forusssletta, from Stokkaveien to Hans og Gretestien. Approved on 27.4.2010.
Delimitation in the south is about 40 m south of the Stokkaveien intersection. In the north project ends between Löwenstrasse and Hans og Gretestien. Length approx. 1200m.
The road will be extended on both sides. Total road width is 27 m plus a green area on each side. The cross-section is adapted to any future light rail by the bus lanes being centred and verging on the car lanes. There shall be bicycle lanes and sidewalks on both sides.
A building must be demolished
Existing T-junctions and roundabouts on Stokkaveien will be rebuilt. The exits to Forus Slettafossen will be closed.
New roundabouts will be built at the Pors Myrveien and Löwenstrasse intersections. Löwenstrasse will be connected to existing road as two lanes.
The Pors Myrveien roundabout shall be built to be controlled by traffic lights. In the other two should be prepared for possible future traffic-light control.
Noise barriers will be erected along some of this stretch.
There will be three bus stops in each direction.
Water and sewage pipes for Sandnes municipality must be replaced on part of the route with approx. 1 300 m trench in total. The largest dimension of existing water mains is Ø300 mm, the sewer pipeline is Ø315 mm and the stormwater pipe is Ø1 000 mm. These are part of the project and will be priced separately.
The water mains for IVAR must be replaced along the west side of the road, dimension 700 mm
District heating pipes for Lyse will be installed along approx. 400 m along the eastern side and the intersection over to Luramyrveien south.
District cooling for Lyse: Löwenstrasse intersection.
Approximately 400 m of mass along this route must be replaced.
The project will be carried out on the basis of drawings.
