The department of clinical dentistry will purchase 4 dental simulator units, fully equipped with software, for use in the clinical teaching. The simulators will be used for teaching/training of various dental procedures using 3D virtual training modules. Among the possibilities can be mentioned:
Basic training in use of rotary virtual instrumentation, preclinical procedures in cardiology, prosthodontics and endodontics in a virtual environment and diagnosis and treatment planning in typical patient cases.
