Assignment text

An advanced and fully automated high content screening microscope is required for a wide range of applications as studies of chromatin replication, which includes quantitative analysis of single DNA molecules as well as cell cycle and mitosis analysis in multi-well plates. Due to the many varied needs of the research group and the specific requirements of this field of research, the group is looking to purchase a highly flexible and modular high-content screening station that works as stand alone microscope mode and complete imaging station with excellent software. The system must be a well-established robust widefield imaging platform and future upgradeable in order to accommodate also other needs of the researchers at University of Coopenhagen as applications change in the future. Importantly, the software must be user friendly and highly versatile with a broad range of standard and tailored applications including DNA combing analysis.
