The Contracting Authority requests tenders for publishing service, including i.a. preparing manuscript , language vetting, proof reading, printing, publishing, marketing, launching, etc. The Contracting Authority is obliged to purchase 2 500 copies It is also requested that 500 copies are made available for sale in bookshops. The book shall be finished printed and ready for launching 1.11.2014, at the latest. The contract period is until 31.12.2018. The Contracting Authority can release option for up to 2 000 copies during the contract period.
The objective of the procurement is publication of research projects involving the road agency in the period 1912–1960. This is being prepared by the researcher Pål Nygaard at the Norwegian Business School In 2014 the Norwegian Public Roads Administration celebrates its 150 years anniversary and the launching of the book is a part of the celebration.
