The Contracting authority seeks tenders for calculating compensation when introducing higher discount rate in the ferry services and providing a methodology for annually updating the selected calculation model. Since 2006, the government has applied discount rates on the discount cards first increased from 40 % to and then to 50 %. Several of today's ferry contracts have therefore been the subject of compensation from the operator as a result of lower revenues in communications.
We thus seek to implement a project that involves a third party to calculate future compensation levels related to discount changes.
The project consists of a main task (base portion) that involves calculations related to highway ferry service and an option on an additional part which involves the use of computational methodology on similar calculations for selected county lines.
