As part of the work regarding avalanche hazard NVE, as a national initiative, is mapping the risk of snow/sludge avalanche, rock fall/rock avalanche and landslide/landslide in connection with flooding, see Plan for avalanche hazard mapping (NVE 14/2011).

In this connection with this NVE annual assignments for the implementation of avalanche hazard mapping in selected urban areas.

This competition comprises landslide hazard mapping in the following areas:

1A) Balestrand Municipality (Sogn og Fjordane):

— Balestrand;

— Ese;

— Vetlefjorddalen;

— Sværen;

— Låne;

— Farnes;

— Esefjordens North side.

1B) Ullensvang Municipality (Hordaland):

— Aga;

— Djønno;

— Kaland;

— Vikebygd;

— Espe – Børve;

— Utne;

— Tjoflotviki;

— Ringøy;

— Jåstad – Haustveit;

— Helland – Urheim.

1C) Loppa Municipality (Finnmark):

— Bergsfjord;

— Øksfjord;

— Sør-Tverrfjord;

— Nuvsvåg;

— Langfjordhamn;

— Kreken;

— Øyra-Seivika;

— Ingaelva.

1D-F) Optional areas in Balestrand Municipality (Sogn og Fjordane)

— Menes;

— Torsnes;

— Sagi - Nokken.
