On behalf of Sør-Varanger municipality, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, Finnut Consult AS invites to an open tender contest-framework agreement for delivery of text books and teaching aids. Finnut Consult AS shall assist in the implementation of the tender contest. The framework agreement includes delivery of all text books to the Awarding Authority. The procurement shall focus on a wide range of text books and accompanying teaching aids which shall cover the main requirements for the Awarding Authority. The products shall, as a minimum, comply with the all time prevailing standard requirements for expected use and other paramount requirements related to textbooks and teaching aids. The products shall mainly be in daily use and shall therefore have a quality witch endure such use.
The demand is based on the Awarding Authority's present consumption. The procurement the previous years has varied between 900 000 and 1 100 000 NOK per annum. The historical consumption is therefore subject to major reservations and shall be considered an estimate only in the next period as the consumption partly is dependent on factors beyond the Awarding Authority's control.
The Awarding Authority is not obliged to procure products for a fixed amount, but will procure in accordance with requirements. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to invite to separate tender contests in connection with larger procurements when teaching aids/textbooks, etc., are to be replaced.
The Awarding Authority requires:
Textbooks and teaching aids for the primary and lower secondary schools and equivalent levels, including teacher guidelines, exercise books, keybooks, original material for copying, etc.
Educational concretising materials including reading and writing training, concept and conversation training for use in the education for i.a. the following subjects:
Mathematics, English and Norwegian.
Audiobooks.
Digital teaching material.
All supplementary materials, regardless of media, shall be included in the price for all products, e.g. Internet based information and information on CD, DVD or equivalent. If the tenderer is able to offer digital resources in the form of licences connected to the textbooks, the subject net sites or interactive board, information of this shall be given.
The tenderer shall have possibilities to offer textbooks from all publishing firms because the Awarding Authority must, based on the professional and educational assessments, be free to choose the textbooks available in the market.
