Short description

In connection with consideration of White Paper 10 (2010-2011) Updating of management plan for the marine environment in the Barents Sea and the maritime zones off Lofoten, it was decided that the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, henceforth referred to as the Awarding should implement information gathering of effects of petroleum activity in closed areas of Nordland County IV, V, VI, VII and Troms County II.

Society and business effects in relation to petroleum activities will be particularly emphasised in connection with obtaining information. Themes are been set in accordance with inputs from local and regional authorities as well as sector authorities, specialist environment and other involved parties.
