The objective of the new operational services agreement is to cover the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training’s, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, requirement for external operation and related products and services. The extent of the existing agreement shall be managed by the new operational services agreement. The contract includes running of servers with appropriate capacity and security levels in relation to the Awarding Authority’s quality requirements for the services. The operation system concept includes hardware, software and other infrastructure components included in the operation of the service. This shall contribute to a simpler, more secure and more efficient operation and use of the Awarding Authority in relation to information and systems for education.
