A X/L-band reception station for delivery during the summer 2012 in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.
The X/L-band system shall receive data from the current NOAA and Metop series in L-band, from NPP and JPSS.
In X-band and from FY3 simultaneous in X- and L-band. The reception system shall receive and process data to leve l0 for use in common satellite data post-processing packages.
The system shall routinely transfer the data to an existing computer system at DMI for further processing, analysis and eventual integration into meteorological products.
