The contracting authority is an institutional investor, and the market value of all investment assets was 941 million euros at the end of 2022. About 60 percent are invested in listed securities. Investments are mainly made through funds. Currently, there are 13 equity funds and 8 fixed income funds. These have nearly 4000 underlying securities globally. In addition, nearly 40 percent of assets are invested in alternative assets classes including real estate, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, and forestry.

The contracting authority’s investments are managed in a secure and profitable manner. In addition to risk and return, environmental, societal and corporate governance (ESG) issues are included in all investment decisions. Please see Guidelines for Responsible Investment for detailed information.

The contracting authority is a signatory to the PRI and is required to report publicly on responsible investment activities each year. Reporting requirements include climate-specific indicators that are aligned with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The contracting authority has a climate strategy and is aiming to decarbonize its investment portfolio over the coming years. Climate Strategy for Investments was introduced in 2021 and updated in 2023.

The contracting authority has also committed to start reporting according to The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) recommendations and intends to publish its first TNFD-aligned disclosures alongside financial statements for financial year 2024 outcomes.

The contracting authority is looking for a service provider (tenderer) to provide continuous monitoring and reporting of ESG data and to support development of nature-related reporting. Service would cover at least listed equity and corporate bonds. The service must include service provider’s proprietary ESG data or reputable third-party ESG data without any additional subscriptions or fees.

The Service provider should have the ability to monitor and analyze a large universe of companies, ie., it should have extensive coverage of companies and a sophisticated database for recording and tracking companies ' activities.
