Fjernvarme Fyn Affaldsenergi (FFA) is located Havnegade 120, DK-5000 Odense C, only a few kilometres from the city centre.The power plant consists of a coal-fired CHP unit 7, a straw-fired CHP unit 8 and a waste incineration plant with three waste-to-energy boilers (Line 11, Line 12 and Line 13) providing steam to two steam turbines (FFA10 and FFA13).FFA10 is a waste fired CHP plant. It was commissioned in 1996 and has a capacity of 11/13 MW electricity and 29 MJ/s district heating.The steam turbine is planned to be in operation until 2032 (as a minimum).The scope of supply for this tender is a major overhaul of the FFA10 steam turbine, gear and generator.The main target with the major overhaul is to ensure that the unit is in a condition where it can be operated safely, reliably and efficiently until the next major overhaul.

For the basic scope of supply the tenderer is to provide fixed prices. The basic scope of supply consists of:o Major overhaul of the steam turbine valves, bearings etc.o Major overhaul of generatoro Delivery of manpowero Delivery of needed tools not available at FFAo Delivery of spare partso Delivery of needed consumableso Cleaning of componentso NDTo Off-site transporto Delivery of reports and documentation.• Optional scope of supply as stated in section 4 of the Special Condition. For the optional scope of supply, the tenderer is to provide fixed prices. The optional scope of supply consists of:o Options that can be ordered before the outage.o Options that can be ordered during the outage based on fact-findings and evaluations after dismantling.• Extra works and supplies based on fact-findings, visual inspections, and NDT after dismantling. Any extra work identified is to be agreed with FFA in writing. The extra scope of supply can consist of:o Extra works, which can be based on a fixed price or the tenderers hourly rates.o Refurbishment of used components, supply of new spare parts or machining of components. Costs should be agreed upfront if possible.Overhaul on site is expected to start September 2024, however, shall be agreed during the tender phase.Hot commissioning and commercial operation are expected to be October 2024, however, shall be agreed during the tender phase.The Supply must be engineered, delivered, installed, cleaned, tested, commissioned, and documented in accordance with the limits specified and ready for commercial operation. When completed, the supply must be fit for the purposes for which the supply is intended as defined in the Tender Material.Location of the plant is at FFA’s location at Havnegade 120 in Odense, Denmark.The procurement has not been divided into lots which is due to the economics of scale when tendering in only one lot as well as the administration of the full supply, which will be very complex if divided into separate lots.For further details concerning the procurement, reference is made to the full Tender Material, including in particular 3.0 Special Conditions.
