Metroselskabet I/S are currently progressing the new M5 line. The new metroline will connect the new urban development east of the city, Lynetteholmen, Refshaleøen and Kløverparken with the existing metro lines. A new CMC to service the new M5 will be part of the project. The CMC will be located at Prøvestenen. The consultancy for the M5 is divided into different contracts and different phases.
The project has the following phases:
Phase 2.1 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Concept design
Phase 2.2: Reference design
Phase 3: Procurement of construction contracts
Phase 4: Construction

The consultancy services are divided into 5 separate contracts:
A M5 Østhavn, Civil works, Utilities and EIA for phase 2.1-4 (Metroselskabet I/S has signed a contract with a joint venture consisting of COWI A/S and Arup)
B: M5 Østhavn, Areas and Rights for phases 2.1-4 (Metroselskabet I/S has signed a contract with COWI A/S)
C: M5 Østhavn, Framework Agreement for Assessor services (the procurement has been concluded, and the framework agreements are signed)
D: M5 Østhavn Transportation System Consultancy for phase 2.1 (Metroselskabet I/S has signed contract with Rambøll Denmark)
E: M5 Østhavn Transportation System Consultancy for phases 2.2-4 (This procurement)
Metroselskabet will be hosting an informationmeeting on Tuesday November 28 2023 at 14:30-16:30 CET regarding Contract E: M5 Østhavn Transportation System Consultancy for phases 2.2-4. The information meeting will be held at Metrovej 5, 2300 Copenhagen. Registration for the meeting at
vij@m.dk. Please provide information on the number of participants who will be attending the meeting physically. It will be possible to participate in the meeting digitally, however it will not be possible to ask questions digitally during the information meeting.
The services covered by Contract E: M5 Østhavn Transportation System Consultancy for phases 2.2-4 will (among others) be:
- Reference design, including reference design for the CMC
- Developing contract requirements for procurement of the construction contract related to transportation systems
- Assistance during tender
- Consultancy during construction (option)
