The DRD will have the answers to the submitted questions available for download on August 25th 2023 (see the following link: https://udbudsportalen.app.vd.dk/en/ongoing and tender no. “TPD-TTD.2023-01 - Market dialogue”). 4. Answer the questions in the document titled “FCD. Market Dialogue, Questions for Potential Suppliers” and email the document to aurh@vd.dk before 11:00 o’clock on September 8th 2023. 5. The DRD reserves the right to follow up on the written market dialogue by inviting selected potential suppliers to dialogue meetings. In that case the meetings will be held in October/November 2023. This market dialogue is a separate process performed before the upcoming tender for the procurement of Floating Car Data (FCD). As a potential supplier you are not obliged to attend this dialogue if you plan to bid for the upcoming tender. Also, participation in the market dialogue does not influence any evaluation in relation to prequalification or proposals submitted under the upcoming tender. It will be a written market dialogue where you, as a potential supplier, answer the questions The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) has listed in the document titled “FCD. Market Dialogue, Questions for Potential Suppliers”. The written market dialogue process may be followed up by a verbal dialogue. The purpose of this market dialogue is to initiate a dialogue with potential suppliers about the procurement of FCD. The FCD is to be used primarily with a number of existing software systems for traffic analysis and planning purposes. Furthermore the DRD wants to explore the possibilities for optimizing winter road maintenance operations by the potential implementation of FCD to gain knowledge about current road conditions and to bridge the gap between the existing road weather information system stations. Currently the DRD expects the upcoming procurement will have the following scope: - Raw time stamped GPS/GNSS point data as input in existing software systems. - Map matched GPS/GNSS point data to a road network as input in existing software systems. - Raw FCD regarding road friction, e.g. anti-lock brake system (ABS) activation, advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) activation, rain-sensing windshield wipers system activation, temperature measurements etc. collected from connected vehicles. - Digital platform for timely analysis and use of the above-mentioned FCD for data-driven winter road maintenance operations.
