Short description

RDPP is seeking the service of a consultant/s in Lebanon and Jordan to support the co-creation process of shortlisted concept notes from potential new partnerships. The objective of this assignment is for the consultant/s facilitate the co-creation process of 9 shortlisted concept notes through eight workshops in both Beirut and Amman, with the aim of improving the project design, enhancing the overall quality of the narrative, and ensuring logical coherence in the final project documents. The purpose of this co-creation process is to enhance the project design, improve the overall quality of narrative, and ensure logic coherence in the final project documents as well as linkages to the overall RDPP strategy and framework.

The consultant/s will facilitate the workshops and assist the RDPP team and the selected partnerships to engage together in discussing the project design and improve the different aspects of the project design (results framework, ToC, discuss targeting, budget etc.). The co-creation should take the form of a workshop with different sessions on various topics and breakout sessions for working on specific aspects of the project design, such as budget fx. For seven workshops the duration will be 3 days, whereas one workshop will be four days as the co-creation will engage two partners simultaneously (not co-creating together, but having some of the sessions jointly). The workshops will have to be implemented between Mondays to Thursdays and alternate between Lebanon and Jordan. The workshops shall be implemented from beginning of July until middle of September 2023.

The expectation for the consultancy process is to facilitate the workshops and support the discussions between the partner and the RDPP team on the different aspects of the project design. The RDPP will bring the relevant technical staff for the different sessions, so it is not expected to have specific skills on the technical areas, but knowledge of project design processes in the humanitarian and development field would be an asset.
