Oslo Municipality currently has a co-procurement contract for new furniture for offices, schools, and institutions that will expire in October 2023. UKE is now in the planning phase of a new co-procurement contract that will replace it. The objective of the co-procurement contract is to ensure efficient and simple access to furniture and fittings for the municipality's entities. The need for furniture and fittings is varies a lot amongst the contracting authority's entities. There are often different considerations that must be addressed, and there are strict requirements regarding functionalities, durability, user-friendliness, safety, ergonomics and, not least, environmental impact.
