Rogaland County intends to enter into a contract with Sixense Monitoring for the execution of specialised maintenance on the bridge, as well as monitoring the cables for 4 months from 01/11/2022 – 28/02/2022. The intention of the assignment is to maintain and update the monitoring system that already exists on the bridge. There are an unusual amount of wire breakages in these cables compared to other equivalent bridges. Whilst we are extending this contract with Sixense Monitoring, we are working on mapping the remaining lifetime of the bridge.
