Short description
The contract includes the establishment, operation and maintenance of 24 hour rest areas for heavy transport along the E16 on the stretch Trengereid - Maristova.
A 24-hour rest area must have 5 setback areas and must contain a service building with sanitary facilities. The 24 hour rest areas must be spread out geographically, and we would like 24 hour rest areas to be split between the municipalities on the stretch (Vaksdal, Voss, Aurland and Lærdal).
The driving distance from the E16 to the entrance to the actual 24 hour rest area must be a maximum of 500 m.
For this procurement, a contract will be signed with up to four tenderers.
The 24 hour rest areas must be opened at the latest on 01.05.2023, and must be operated and maintained for 10 years (with an option for an extension for 1+1 year).
