Short description
The Land Consolidation Courts use GNSS equipment for RTK measurements to clarify and document property conditions, i.e. surveying and staking out property borders. The equipment must be adapted for field use and be able to carry out surveying in accordance with the quality requirements given in the Norwegian Mapping Authority's standard for "stedfesting av matrikkelenhets- og råderettsgrenser" ["location of cadastral unit and jurisdictional boundaries"]. GNSS rover receivers (GPS + GLONASS + GALILEO) for Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) with optional equipment must be supplied. The Land Consolidation Courts employ 80 surveyors at 37 office locations. The contracting authority needs to purchase approx. 80 GNSS rover receivers.
Many surveying assignments are performed under difficult surveying conditions. There are strict requirements for performance. The Land Consolidation Courts use GNSS equipment in combination with field PCs and digital maps to hold court hearings in the field. The SurvPC program from Carlson Software is used for map display and survey tasks in the field.
