The Agency for Cemeteries and Burials' main assignment is to ensure that Oslo's inhabitants are buried with dignity and respect, based on their religion or outlook on life. The agency will be built up under the municipality's vision of being a green, warm, and creating city with room for everyone. The agency manages Oslo's 22 cemeteries as agreed with the Church Council. Oslo Municipality's climate budget has ambitious goals of a 95% reduction of climate gas emissions by 2030. A central policy for achieving this is switching to zero-emission vehicles. Based on this, GFE needs to procure two electric lorries with a hook body.
The procurement of 2 electric lorries with a hook body was published on 12.07.2021 (reference no. in TED S: 2021/S 136-363645 and in Doffin: 2021-306977) and then cancelled (see Doffin:
https://doffin.no/Notice/Details/2021-393960). A decision was then made to hold a new equivalent contest with some changes that would be in a change log.
