Short description
This is a prior information notice in order to inform relevant tenderers on our plans to procure a new core system (ILS/library system) and new communication solutions (public facing solutions, advanced webpages, solutions for recommending content/activities/offerings). The systems will be used by Deichman and collaborating libraries (option). We expect that the core system will be a standard system/off-the-shelf product, whilst the communication solutions will be a re-implementation/new implementation based on the contracting authority's existing systems, competence, and insight, as well as future needs. The contracting authority expects that the supplier of the communication solutions will be a competent, experienced, and innovative collaboration partner and system integrator. A high degree of integrations with adjoining services such as the book sorting system, hand-held logistics tool, different types of vending machines for self-service, etc., must be expected for both the core system and communication solutions.
