Short description
The purpose of the procurement is to restore previously ditched bogs and abandoned turf roofs using an excavator with belts. The bogs are restored by building dams of local peat and closing the ditches with peat, shrubs and trees on the site.
Other materials such as road cloth and wood materials can be used in special cases.
Material use and method are described in the individual call-offs.
The agreement covers the whole of Norway, but is divided into 10 regions, where the providers can choose to make offers for one or more of the regions. Each State Administration office constitutes a region.
The size of the assignments will vary a lot, from a few hundred meters with a ditch to be sealed, to a dozen kilometers to be sealed in the single assignment. Peat roofs of various sizes will also be restored.
